OUR REGATTA

Nereid Boat Club and Passaic River Rowing Association have proudly co-hosted the Head of the Passaic Regatta, one of the world premier rowing events in the Northeast. Held annually on the scenic Passaic River, the regatta has grown into a beloved tradition, attracting rowers from across the region to compete in a challenging 4,703 meter head race. This longstanding partnership between Nereid and PRRA reflects our shared commitment to fostering a vibrant rowing community and promoting athletic excellence. Together, we have cultivated a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the camaraderie and spirit of rowing, making the Head of the Passaic a highlight of the competitive rowing calendar.
