Map of waterway course for the Head of the Passaic Regatta including start and finish points, race lanes, buoys, bridges, and landmarks along the river.

  • The starting line for this year’s course is located at Nereid Boat Club and will run South for 4,703 meters.

  • Boats will launch from the PRRA dock and move North towards the start line at Nereid.

  • There are several bridges located along the river and it is a safety imperative rowers are aware of their surroundings and follow the “rules of the river.”

  • Some bridge openings are narrow, so be sure to yield when appropriate and stay safe.

  • We highly recommend reviewing the Rules of the Head of the Passaic page in advance of the race so you are aware of the differences in this year’s course versus previous years.
